Background Information
Dr. O'Brien is the co-creator and director of Kutztown University’s major program in Public Relations. She also serves on the university’s Marketing and Communication Advisory Board.
Her research interests include branding, visual communication, and self-presentation. O'Brien's professional experience includes strategic communication, branding, media relations, perception research, and investor relations for Fortune 500 and venture capital companies. Locally, she has written and designed publications for the Emmaus high school sports program, East Penn Youth Wrestling Association, the Suburban Swim League, and Air Products Golf League.
Dr. O'Brien served as the Assistant Chair of the department of English from 2008 to 2014. -
