  • Background Information
    Mark is a member of Kutztown University Adjunct Faculty and has been the Instructor for Principles of Business Logistics since Spring of 2022. In addition, he will also serve as the Instructor of Accounting Information Systems during Fall of 2025 and Spring of 2026. Mr. Brown also served as the Instructor for Principles of Management during Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, and Principles of Supply Chain Management in Fall 2021. Having retired in July 2024, he was formerly the Managing Partner of Plantensive Solutions Group (PSG), a Morgan Franklin Company, and part of the Vaco portfolio of companies. PSG is a professional services firm with an emphasis on providing supply chain advisory, systems integration/engineering, and managed services to clients. PSG is chartered to assist clients in developing strategies and creating solutions designed to improve an organization’s Supply Chain performance. PSG has an impressive client portfolio including Fortune 1000 companies like: Ingram Micro, McDonalds, Coca-Cola North America, PVH, Mars, and Perdue. Mark stepped down as Managing Partner in the summer of 2021 and served from 2021 to July 2024 as a Managing Director with PSG to develop business plans and market-focused strategies to continue PSG’s impressive growth. In 2022 PSG revenues grew by 51%. With continued revenue growth of 30% in 2023.
    Prior to serving as PSG’s Managing Partner, Mark was a co-founder and served as the Managing Principal of MEBC Inc. from 2002 until it was acquired by Vaco at the end of 2018. After the acquisition Vaco merged MEBC with Vaco Supply Chain Consulting to form PSG.
    Mark has over 30 years of experience in the Supply Chain and supporting technologies fields. He has global supply chain experience and has conducted, managed, and led over 50 client engagements mostly with Fortune 1000 and Federal Government clients. These engagements include Supply Chain Transformations, Software Implementations, Supply Chain Strategy & Assessments, Process Improvement, and Supply Chain Optimizations (segmentation, inventory, logistics, strategic procurement). Some of Mark’s most notable Supply Chain Transformational projects have been at: Havi (McDonalds), Defense Logistics Agency, PVH, and Avon Products. Mark’s more recent client focus has been on designing and delivering effective change management programs for clients. He has performed Supply Chain education, training, and organizational transformation for clients such as Omron, Bunzl, Ingram Micro, PVH, FAA and the Defense Logistics Agency.
    Prior to the formation of MEBC, he was employed in management positions at KPMG Consulting, General Public Utilities, Crystal Brands (Izod/Lacoste), and Bachman Foods. While at General Public Utilities Mark served as an Auditor in GPU’s management development program conducting audits in Information Systems, Accounting, Financials and evaluating the existing systems of Internal Controls for GPU’s operating companies of Metropolitan Edison, Pennsylvania Electric, and Jersey Central Power and Light.
