Welcome to University College (UC), founded in 2026!

Although UC is the newest college at Kutztown University, its core philosophy is deeply rooted in KU’s mission, values, history, and traditions. University College is structured to support the success of all students at our institution, especially undergraduates. By engaging in our programs, you will build learning mindsets, explore your passions and potential career pathways, and discover more about yourself and your goals. Here, you will find opportunities to practice your leadership skills and to give back to your communities through service.

Learn about Dr. Rauch

As the first person in my extended family to go to college, I know how impactful a university education can be. It certainly changed my life forever!  After receiving my bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish at a local institution, I pursued a master’s and doctorate at Duke University and the University of Virginia, respectively. I have had many roles since joining Kutztown University in 2001, including faculty member, department chair, associate dean, and associate provost. I am excited and humbled to serve as University College’s founding dean.
