Dr. Fennelly earned her B.A. in English from Skidmore College; her M.A. in English from Lehigh University; and her Ph.D. from Lehigh University. Prior to coming to Kutztown University in the fall of 2012, Dr. Fennelly taught composition and literature courses in the English Departments of Bloomsburg University, Lehigh University, Lafayette College, and several community colleges.
