KU Cares: Financial Assistance

The KU Care Team works to connect KU students who face financial emergencies with funds and/or resources, that can help them put their focus back on school.

APPLY FOR EMERGENCY financial ASSISTANCE

Students can apply for funds at KU Care Team Emergency Funds Request.  A KU Care Team member will contact applicants within five - seven business days of receipt.  Applications are considered on a case-by case basis.

Winter 2022 requests will start to be reviewed November 15th.

As before, all aid options must be exhausted before emergency aid will be considered.

Financial assistance options

Financial Assistance is available in many forms including federal relief funds and through donations received from KU's extended families and supporters.  Not all students are eligible for all funds.  All funding is first come first serve.  Non-COVID related requests are VERY limited in available funds.  Individual limits may exist for all funding requests.
