Commission on Human Diversity

Description

Pursues the goal of having a university community where all members honor each other's differences. It sets priorities, monitors changes and educates the community in order to create an environment in which all members will receive proper recognition, encouragement and support. Meetings: monthly. Terms: 2 years. Appointees: 11 of the 27 members

Reports to Administrative Council.

Call for presentations:

The Kutztown University Commission on Human Diversity once again welcomes proposals for presentations related to the various dimensions of multiculturalism, diversity, social justice, inclusion and equity in all areas of life and education. Our 10th annual conference will be Friday, Feb. 28. Consider presenting yourself and share this with students and/or speakers from outside KU. We welcome you to submit your proposal by Saturday, Dec. 7.

This is a great way to get to know others at the university, become a part of the decision-making process and have your voice heard.  No prior experience necessary, just a genuine interest in being an active part of the community!

    Each spring, the annual conference of Kutztown University's Commission on Human Diversity unites activists, scholars, students & the community for talks. The Commission's mission: advocating for the the rights and dignity of all people, all the time.
