First-Year Undergraduate Students 2023-2024 Academic Year

One challenge for new students is the impact of the "College Effect." The College Effect describes an increase in the prevalence and intensity of health-risk behaviors that often accompany the transition into college life. The College Effect can impact the college experience and impair academic performance and retention.
