Public  shows

We focus on the Sun this spring with the upcoming total solar eclipse (Monday, April 8) and the ongoing approach toward maximum magnetic activity.  We are also thrilled to present research results from KU's C. R. Chambliss Astronomical Observatory (CRCAO) on April 18 and May 2!  The Spring 2024 public planetarium show series starts with an exciting new animated planetarium show about dinosaurs.

All shows are followed by a question & answer period with KU's astrophysicist and planetarium director Dr. Phill Reed and student planetarium assistant Lauren Murphy.
