The Office of Social Equity will offer training pursuant to the University’s Anti-Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Sexual Misconduct, and Amorous Relationships Policies, as follows:
- Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. (In-Person)
- Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. (Zoom)
- Monday, March 21, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. (In-Person)
- Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. (Zoom)
All in-person, training sessions will be held in the HR Training Center (formerly the LGBTQ+ Resource Center), located on the ground floor of Old Main A-Wing, Room 04 across from the Office of Social Equity.
Each session should last approximately 30-45 minutes. If you would like to attend any of the above trainings, please register by e-mail with firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note training by the department is also available. To schedule a training session for your department, please contact the Office of Social Equity at extension 3-4700. Please obtain approval from your supervisor if necessary.
This training is also available from the Office of Social Equity through Desire2Learn (D2L). If you choose to take the online training through D2L, go to the "View all Courses" link, type "Social Equity" in the search bar and hit enter. You can then either click on the course to enter it or, if you would like it on your homepage, click the three (3) dots in the upper right corner of the image to "Pin" it to your homepage.
Please note all faculty and staff members must take the training on a yearly basis. If you cannot recall when you last completed the training, please contact the Office of Social Equity, and we will be glad to check our records. As a friendly suggestion, it may help to mark your calendar around the same date each year as a reminder to complete the training.
