Your gift to the Center for Mallet Percussion Research Department Fund supports our unique building, ongoing programming, collections preservation, and community outreach.

This building, named in honor of Dr. Richard Wells and Dr. Will Rapp, two emeriti faculty members from Kutztown University's Department of Music, showcases 2,100 square feet of performance space in addition to dedicated spaces for each of the specialized collections of rare marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones, bells and chimes currently in the collection. This building is more than its exhibits and is a functional facility for students, professors, and researchers to take advantage of the one-of-a-kind collection and performance spaces.

With your help, we can continue growing and improving our efforts to reach a global community through mallet percussion performance and research.

This inspiring space opened in Spring 2023 and is a $7.2 million project.  Thanks to the many generous donors who have made this project possible. Because of you, we are just $250,000 away from our goal!
