Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research
Welcome!
Our archives contain one-of-a-kind collections of artifacts, instruments, manuscripts, and recordings representing many of the luminaries in the mallet percussion art form.
The Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research (CMPR) is home to KU's growing collection of music, photos and artifacts, along with rare and valuable vintage collection of mallet percussion instruments.
The building is named in honor of Dr. Richard Wells and Dr. Will Rapp, Professors Emeritus, two longtime faculty members in Kutztown University's Department of Music.
