Title 18 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes Section 7505 authorizes Kutztown University to promulgate rules and regulations governing all vehicular traffic and parking upon its campus. At Kutztown University a University Traffic Bureau, composed of faculty, staff, and students is designated to advise the Administrative Council on all proposals, policies, and regulations pertaining to parking and traffic control on the Kutztown University Campus and serves as an appellate body to hear and adjudicate violations of campus traffic and parking regulations.
The University Traffic Bureau (UTB) is comprised of two members of the faculty, two members of the staff and four students representing commuters, residents and graduate students. Reporting to the Administrative Council, the UTB develops parking regulations, serves as an appellate body to hear and adjudicate violations of campus traffic and parking regulations and provides current information to the university community with regard to traffic and parking regulations.
The Management Technician and the Associate Director of KU Business Services serve as the Recorder and Chair, respectively.
All parking ticket appeals are sent to the UTB for consideration. The UTB meets twice a month while classes are in session.
Please contact KU Business Services for information regarding University Traffic Bureau procedures.
