Get Golden! Common Tasks Checklist

Be sure to keep up-to-date on the following tasks to keep your KU experience smooth and seamless.

  • 1: Your KU ID

You can obtain a KU ID card in one of two ways:

    1. You may submit a photo via email for your KU ID card to kucard@kutztown.edu.  We will then upload the photo into your account and print your ID card.  Cards can either be sent via campus mail to your office or you may pick it up within two days of sending the photo.  Please indicate in your email which option you prefer for obtaining your card.

    2. Or, if you prefer, you may also come to our office in 107 Academic Forum and we can take your photo.  Our office is open Monday through Friday 8am-4pm during the summer and 8am-4:30pm during the academic year.

More information, including photo submission requirements uses of your ID card, can be found on our website!

  • 2: Your Parking Permit

New car? New windshield? You'll need a new parking permit! To secure your parking permit, you must present a state-issued driver's license and valid vehicle registration to KU Business Services.

To expedite the process, email a copy of your valid vehicle registration to us in advance of visiting us in 107 Academic Forum during our office during regular business hours. Once we have received your registration, we will reserve a permit for you and email you when it's ready for pickup. You can also simply bring your registration to us - along with your driver’s license - during regular business hours.

You may also register a second vehicle as well, but remember, only one vehicle may be parked on campus at a time. If you need to drive a rental vehicle at any point, the rental agreement will serve as your temporary registration and must also be presented to Business Services to secure a temporary parking permit.

    Please remember:

    • Employees are to park in spaces marked with yellow lines only.
    • Employees may not park in designated visitor spaces or reserved parking spaces without the proper permit.
    • Handicapped spaces may be used only by those holding a valid state accessible parking placard or plate, which must be visible at all times, along with the appropriate Kutztown University permit.

For more information about parking on campus, please visit our website.

  • 3: Your KU ID Password

Can't remember or need to update your KU ID password? Visit KU Account Management for more information.
