Student Teaching Clearances

All students preparing for Clinical Experience (student teaching) are required to update the following background checks, medical tests, and trainings:

• Act 34 Pennsylvania Criminal History Report

• Act 114 FBI Federal Criminal History Record

• Act 126 Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training

• Act 151 Child Abuse History Report

• TB Test

• PSEA Insurance

• PSTAT Training Module

You must upload all clearances to Anthology in the Student Teaching Clearances portfolio.

Note: If you have been accepted for student teaching but don’t see the ‘Student Teaching Clearances’ option when creating the portfolio, contact the Clinical Experiences office and the COE Support Office to be added to the student teaching group.
