KU Student Housing and Dining

A guide to housing and dining for parents and families.

Students are provided with a wide range of options for housing on the Kutztown campus. Twelve co-ed residence facilities that include three apartment-style, two suite-style, and seven traditional-style buildings accommodate 3,500 students. Students may also opt into ten different Special Interest Housing communities, appealing to a variety of interests and supporting faculty connections, peer-to-peer relationships, and learning outside of the classroom.

Kutztown University is dedicated to providing nutritious and wholesome dining choices to each student every day. There are numerous locations on campus for students to sit down for full meals or grab quick snacks and beverages on the way to class.

Kutztown University students may choose from a variety of flexible meal plans that will fit into any busy schedule whether they live on or off campus. MyTime meal plans provide unlimited access to two all-you-care-to-eat residential dining locations. Block Meal Plans offer a choice in meal swipes that the student must budget throughout the semester. Students also receive Dining Flex Dollars, which are included with all meal plan purchases, as well as guest meal swipes. Dining Flex Dollars may be used at any dining location on campus to purchase snacks, coffee, bottled beverages, and more. It's easy to eat on campus because Meal Plans and Dining Flex Dollars are loaded onto the student's KU ID card. All they have to do is "swipe & go" so they never have to worry about going hungry or carrying cash.
