The Facilities Management employees are a team of highly dedicated, motivated and committed professionals striving to provide the highest level of service in support of the University mission.  The task before them is daunting and complex.  The KU population is almost twice that of Kutztown Borough and slightly exceeds the population of Maxatawny Township.  In essence, Kutztown University is a small town with all of the associated needs and complexities.

The Facilities Management purpose is twofold: Service and Stewardship.  We provide facility related services to support and facilitate the academic and public service missions of the University.  It is our goal to provide quality services in a timely manner.  Facilities Management is also tasked to be the stewards of the buildings and other physical assets of the University - a fiduciary responsibility we take very seriously.  Our stewardship is to the students of the University and taxpayers of Pennsylvania to ensure the allocated funds they provide are expended wisely to maintain these physical assets.  Our stewardship is also to future generations of students, faculty, staff, and community members who will follow in our footsteps.  The goal is to leave the University better than we received it and pass on a legacy of good stewardship to future generations.

We are always striving to improve and make our services more readily accessible to our customers.  This Facilities Service Guide is intended to provide a summary of services offered and how you can obtain those services.  If you need further assistance or clarification, please contact the Work Control Center at x31594 or stop by our offices along Baldy Road.  We would love to see you!
