Dr. Lorin Basden Arnold, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, has been promoted to senior vice president for Academic Affairs, university president Dr. Philip Cavalier announced Monday, July 28. Basden Arnold has served as chief academic officer and second-in-command for the institution since June 2021, with her new title taking effect Friday, Aug. 1.
“Lorin has done an excellent job over the past four years leading the largest division at Kutztown University,” Cavalier said. “She brings tremendous experience and knowledge to the university leadership team and I am grateful to have her to help guide KU’s strategic planning, mission and vision.”
