Parking Enforcement

August 2026

Students, Faculty & Staff,

Welcome back to Kutztown University! We are excited to kick off the 2026 – 2027 academic year which will be filled with learning, growth, and community engagement. As we begin this new semester, I want to remind everyone about the importance of adhering to our parking regulations. The Kutztown University Public Safety & Police Services is committed to ensuring the safety and convenience of all members of our campus community. To facilitate smooth traffic flow and access to assigned parking locations, we kindly ask that you:

  • Obtain a valid parking decal: All students, faculty and staff vehicles parked on campus must display a valid parking decal.
  • Obtain a valid visitor parking pass: All visitors should obtain a visitor parking permit when visiting campus.
  • Observe posted parking signs: Please carefully read and follow all posted assigned parking & restrictions.
  • Utilize designated assigned parking locations: Park only in assigned designated decal locations. Avoid blocking entrance ways or fire hydrants.

We understand the importance of convenient parking and we are working diligently to manage the parking on campus. However, to maintain safe and orderly environment for everyone, parking enforcement will be strictly enforced starting on Monday, August 24th, 2026.

To obtain a parking decal please visit KU Business Services - Vehicle Registration and Permits located at 107 Academic Forum. Please be reminded that students are only permitted to park in their ASSIGNED lots and in white lined spaces, not restricted spaces.

Finally, parking lot A1 (MSU) has been repaved and had the physical meters removed and replaced with a digital payment system. A1 remains a pay-to-park lot, through the new digital system, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday during the academic year, beginning Monday, Aug. 24. The cost will be $0.75/30 minutes, with a maximum of 90 minutes. The only method of payment is mobile – no app is required. Instructions are available on parking lot signage and include the options of a QR code to scan or a number to text. Vehicle license plate will need to be entered into the mobile payment portal. Questions can be directed to the MSU Information Desk at 610-683-4018.

I thank you all for your continued cooperation. We look forward to a successful academic year! It’s Good to Be Golden”

Respectfully,

Chief David Drezek
