The online general business degree meets the needs of working professionals and adult learners seeking a streamlined, achievable path to graduation in as little as two years. Kutztown University’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in General Business is a fully online, asynchronous degree completion program designed for motivated students who have already completed at least 60 college credits (100-level or higher), including Applied Statistics (STAT 140 or equivalent), and are ready to finish their bachelor’s degree. With flexible scheduling and a structured academic plan, full-time students with a business background can complete the program in as little as 2 years, without pausing their careers or personal commitments.

College credits can transfer in from a wide range of academic backgrounds. Students without prior business coursework may need additional classes and, therefore, take longer to complete the degree. Once admitted, our transfer team will review the credits you’ve previously earned and discuss how they can be applied to our program requirements.
Every student has a different academic background. Once admitted into the program, students will receive a full transfer credit evaluation to determine how their existing college credits will be applied to the general business curriculum. Current Kutztown students interested in transferring to the general business online degree program can work with their academic advisor to discuss their options. Interested students must have completed 60 credits and applied statistics.
For the online general business program, prospective students can earn credits by examination through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Through these exams, you can demonstrate knowledge you’ve acquired through independent study, academic interest, or on-the-job experiences. Qualifying scores on these examinations can place you in more advanced courses.
