Required courses (offered every semester)

WGST 100 - Introduction to Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies (3)

Any 300-level WGS class
   WGST 3XX - Seminar in Women's Studies (3) can be completed as an individualized instruction.

Elective courses

Satisfy elective requirements by:  

Taking four WGST courses

Taking a total of four courses that span at least two different disciplines (ex. Courses with SOCI prefix and two courses with ENGL prefix)

Taking a total of four courses that span two different disciplines and WGST program (ex. One course with a WGST prefix, one with a SOCI prefix, and two with a COMM prefix)

At least two elective courses must be at the 200-level or above. A list of acceptable elective courses for the WGST minor may be found on MyKU or the program’s web page. 

Substitutions may occur only with the permission of the Director of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies.
