College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Welcome to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. On behalf of the faculty and students that make up the College's academic community, we thank you for visiting our website today. We also invite you to visit us in-person so that you can see first-hand how our students and faculty interact in our environment, and to get a better impression of our campus.

The College's fourteen academic departments offer programs based in the rich liberal arts heritage of higher education. In addition to our traditional major programs, we also offer contemporary majors in technology-rich areas, as well as interdisciplinary opportunities. Many students choose to broaden their education by completing an internship or by conducting research with faculty.  You will find details on all these programs as you navigate the site. The strength of all the programs of our college lies in a dedicated faculty who have a passion for teaching and mentoring that touches students' minds as well as their lives.

Kutztown University, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is a wonderful place to take the next steps in your life. You will learn much more than a discipline at KU; you will acquire lifelong learning skills necessary to have a positive impact on the social, political, professional, and ethical challenges of a contemporary society.
