Dean's Scholars

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Scholars’ Reception is one of the most anticipated events of the year—a time to honor the outstanding achievements of our students and faculty.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of our remarkable scholars and educators. Your dedication, curiosity, and commitment to excellence make you shining examples within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the entire Kutztown University community.

A special thank you to our project managers, Christopher Cohen and Lisbeth Cabrera, for their invaluable contributions to making this celebration possible.

We invite you to enjoy the inspiring words from our students:

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you!

Sincerely,

CLAS Dean’s Outstanding Faculty Award

As part of the initiative to recognize contributions of faculty in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences the CLAS Dean’s Outstanding Faculty Award was established in spring 2015.

This award recognizes tenure-track and tenured faculty who show a consistent and conscientious commitment to student success in and out of the classroom. Faculty are considered based on a record of supporting student research/internships and helping students (in and out of the classroom) above and beyond the “norm.” Particular consideration is given to contributions to student learning/student learning experiences and involvement with students. The recipient is someone who holds the respect of their peers -- in and out of their own department.
