Career and Leadership Skills Academy

Welcome to The Pennsylvania Banker's Association Career and Leadership Skills Academy. This professional development opportunity is a collaboration of the PA Bankers Association and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Completion of this program leads to a collaborative non-credit certificate from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. The program includes 13.5 hours of synchronous online instruction.

Program Learning Objectives

Learners will obtain and gain insight on critical career and professional development foundational skills including DEI, interpersonal skills, communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.
Learners will develop an inclusive leadership style and approach that fits their personal abilities and workplace context.
Learners will understand a Banking leader's role in equity and inclusion and sustainable business practices.

The Career and Leadership Skills Academy Program Expectations for the program are:

Be Engaged
Be Respectful

Participants in this program are expected to adhere to principles of respect and civility at all times, fostering an environment of inclusivity and professionalism. Hostile communication, sexual harrassment, discrimination, or any form of disrespect will not be tolerated.

Students who do not adhere to these expectations will be given a warning. Those who violate the expectations a second time will be asked to leave the program.
