Painting Faculty Solo Exhibit in New York City
Mike Shultis, assistant professor of Art, currently has a major solo exhibition in Chelsea, New York, at Morgan Presents Gallery, placing him among leading contemporary artists working today. The exhibition titled “Rome” features eight new paintings and assemblage works that build off Roman historical references as well as famous motifs from across centuries of art historical movements. Everyday materials are layered with paint in a process of simultaneous accumulation and destruction, generating complex, seductive, horrifying and humorous scenarios that serve as a reflection on our present moment in time and history. A solo show of this magnitude demonstrates a significant achievement in the art world and is a point of pride for the painting program and the Art and Design department at-large. The exhibition is on view through Wednesday, March 11.

  • Administration and Finance

    Spring 2026 Balances
These are past due unless the student is participating in a valid payment plan that covers the full balance. Please address any uncovered balances. If you are unsure of how to pay, we can always assess the account to be sure you have received and know all available options. Did you know if a parent is denied a parent plus loan, the student might be eligible for additional Stafford loans? Email us for guidance at studentaccounts@kutztown.edu.

Spring 2026 Charges Added Throughout Semester
Charges can continue to be added to the Spring 2026 account through the semester and even after the semester if the student resides on campus. A few weeks after the semester, a student could be notified by housing that they have damages assessed and these would need to be paid before any diplomas could be released. Holds and late fees would be applicable just like with any other charges. Always review your monthly statement to verify activity.

    2026-2027 FAFSA
The FAFSA for next year is open and is required if you want to use any federal aid for next school year. To be considered for any state grant funding, the FAFSA must be filed and processed before Friday, May 1; this means to file and sign by Wednesday, April 15, to be safe. Do not delay any longer. FAFSAs are required every year.

    Summer 2026 Registration and Costs
Summer 2026 registration opens shortly. Summer Costs are published online as well as page dedicated to Summer session payment information. Due dates and payment plans are now being created. We encourage planning in advance to get the most payments. Students do not have to be enrolled in classes yet to sign up for the payment plan and take advantage of the payment plan. Watch our website for updates.

    Internships
Just a reminder that internships are credits a student earns and they receive a grade for, which affects their GPA. These credits have a cost just like any other credit does at KU. They have less fees for these experiences as they are off campus, but there are costs associated with them. Please budget accordingly for summer internships.

    Fall 2026 Payment Plan Update
Fall 2026 will have a six-payment plan opening soon – planning ahead gets you the best plan possible. Billing for the Fall 2026 semester will occur in mid-July. Follow our website for more information as it becomes available regarding payment plans. While costs are not billed until July, you will be able to use this year's costs as an estimate to set up a plan for next fall. Adjusting the amount later, when you have the actual costs, is easy. Fall 2026 bills will be due early August.

    Graduating Seniors - Exit Interviews
Students planning to graduate in May will want to ensure that they have cleared all balances in MyKU; including recent ones such as Health Center visits, ID replacements and any later added inclusive access fees, for example. Students who received federal aid may have requirements to complete, such as an exit interview for Stafford Loans, if Stafford Loans were used.
