Virtual Commencement

To Kutztown University's Fall 2020 Graduates,

We are disappointed that we cannot gather in person, but we continue take pride in the challenges you overcame to persevere in earning your degrees. Graduates will be invited to walk at the next in-person ceremony, which will be held as soon as we are able to do so.

Though we are not able to provide you an in-person ceremony yet, we hope you will enjoy this virtual ceremony, share this time with your family and join us in congratulating all of your fellow graduates.

Ceremony Program

The virtual ceremony will begin on this page at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020. The following is what you can expect that day.

  • Virtual Commencement Video: This video will be presented as a YouTube premiere. Beginning at 9 a.m., Dec. 12, you can view it live with your fellow graduates. The video will include an abbreviated ceremony featuring the president, provost and deans giving their commencement remarks and the official conferring of degrees. Each graduate's name will be shown on screen. After the premiere, the video will be available on-demand.

  • Digital Commencement Bulletin: View and download a digital commencement program.
  • Cap and Gown Celebration Video: Watch graduates who submitted their photos in a video collage.
