  • Business Services

    Business Services oversees the vehicle registration process, campus shuttle service, and Enterprise Rental Car program. Business Services is located in room 107 of the Academic Forum, and operates on the University’s regular business hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM during the academic year and 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM during the summer months.

  • Calendars and Schedules

    Please visit the Academic Calendar page for a list of printable academic calendars by year, final exam schedules, and a schedule of daily academic events.

  • Chambliss Observatory

    The Carlson R. Chambliss Astronomical Observatory is located on the roof of the Grim Science Building, Room 300, and serves the entire KU Community: 

    • Physics/Astronomy faculty and students perform astrophysics research projects. 
    • Art/Photography faculty and students perform astrophotography projects. 
    • Astronomy courses rely on the observatory for many educational projects. 
    • The observatory is frequently open for public observing events, a community outreach project in association with the KU Planetarium. 
    • Astronomers visiting from other institutions also use the Observatory.

  • Conference and Event Services

    The McFarland Student Union provides a venue for many different events such as meetings, lectures, conferences, dances, and banquets. Our facility is open to the entire Kutztown University and its community. If you aren't sure what facilities and services are available to you in the McFarland Student Union, or simply have questions and are unsure where to find the answers, just give us a call and we'll help you plan your event in the McFarland Student Union.

  • Dining Services and Facilities

    Kutztown University Dining Services is responsible for providing meal plan options that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of the University community. Dining Services offers a large selection of dining venues throughout the entire university campus. In addition, there are programs and events that are offered during the academic year to meet the diversified needs of Kutztown University.

  • Frederick Douglass Institute

    The Frederick Douglass Institute at Kutztown University is an organization that encourages development of equality and diversity among faculty, staff and students through scholarships, research, forums, exhibits, conferences and visiting scholars. Our Institute encourages scholarship and facilitates the exchange of ideas around issues of cultural diversity and social equality among members of the campus community. We specifically promote activities such as discussions, forums, conferences, fellowship programs and exhibits in order to increase awareness of multicultural issues and promote racial harmony.

  • KU Campus Store (Bookstore)

    The KU Campus Store is owned and operated by Kutztown University Student Services, Inc. (KUSSI), an independent non-profit affiliate of Kutztown University. We work closely with the University and the Student Government Board to provide free and low-cost services to students and student-led organizations.

    The KU Campus Store is located on the ground floor of the McFarland Student Union Building. A metered parking is located in front of the Student Union on College Boulevard.

    KU Bookstore and Inclusive Access Program 

    Inclusive Access is a collaboration between the professor, KU Campus Store, the Office of Student Accounts, the Office of Distance Education, and publishers to provide required course materials at a reduced cost. When course materials are part of this program, all students registered for the class automatically receive access to the materials. Watch an overview of Inclusive Access in a course.   • KU Foundation

    The KU Foundation has been raising funds to support the students, faculty, programs and capital needs of Kutztown University since 1983. With the generous support of KU alumni and our KU Community, we've raised millions of dollars for student scholarships, endowment, building projects, academic programs, athletics and more. The KU Foundation is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all gifts to the KU Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

  • KU Presents! Live Performances

    The mission of KU Presents! is to be the center of cultural life at Kutztown University and the region through professional presentations of innovative and engaging live music, theater and dance of the highest quality.

  • Mail Services

    The Mail Services Department receives, processes, and distributes both campus mail and US mail, parcels, packages, and overnight mail. We also process and seal metered mail, certified, insured, and Express mail, and provides mail delivery to various departments once a day.

  • McFarland Student Union

    The McFarland Student Union (know as the “MSU”), located at 171 College Boulevard, provides many services and programs to enhance the academic engagement and experience for students, staff, faculty and guests to the university. Start your day at the MSU with a coffee at Starbucks in the Bear's Den. You can also view a showcase of student artwork in three Art Gallery locations: the Student Union Art Gallery, Brass Rail Gallery, and Corner Gallery. The MSU also houses the Cub Café, an all-you-care-to-eat dining venue serving the entire University community and is open during the academic year Monday - Sunday. In addition, the student union has several lounges including a fireside study lounge and a commuter, adult and veteran student common lounge - a convenient resource and relaxation spot. It also houses a credit union, Campus Store and Administrative Offices.

  • PA German Cultural Heritage Center

    The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center is an open-air folklife museum and research center dedicated to preserving and celebrating Pennsylvania German folk culture, history, and language in a unique educational setting at Kutztown University. Although the Heritage Center museum is currently closed to the public for tours and activities due to the construction of the Heritage Center’s new headquarters, library, and archives building, you can learn more about this exciting new project please visit us at kuf.org.

  • Print Center

    The KU Print Center – managed by Alphagraphics -  is available for your copy, laminating, and all other needs. We are located in room 106 of the Academic Forum.

  • Public Safety & Police Services

    The mission of the Kutztown University Department of Public Safety and Police Services is to enrich the living, learning and working experiences of the Kutztown University community. This will be accomplished by protecting life, maintaining order and safeguarding property in partnership with the community it serves.

  • Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

    The Kutztown Small Business Development Center offers existing businesses and early-stage entrepreneurs access to no cost, confidential consulting services, and learning opportunities. We provide services at our outreach offices in Kutztown, Reading, Harrisburg, Exton, Lancaster, and York.

  • University Relations and Athletics

    University Relations and Athletics is an eclectic collection of university departments that individually seem to have little in common, yet collectively have a very similar outcome – the dissemination of positive voice and image of the university in support of the university mission, vision and strategic initiatives. The division is the conduit for the community, region and world to interact with Kutztown University.
