  • Bus/taxi
  • Currency exchange fees
  • Parking
  • Telephone/fax
  • Tolls
  • Rental car, gasoline purchases
  • Mailing costs
  • Internet fees
  • Educational books and materials purchased at the conference

All expenses claimed must be business-related. The university does not reimburse employees for personal expenditures including:

  • Parking or moving vehicle fines
  • Personal telephone calls or faxes
  • Internet fees for personal use
  • Dry cleaning and laundry service
  • Upgrades in airfare seating and priority boarding

Tips for maid service, bell hops, and valets are reimbursable, but these amounts may only be claimed as part of the employee's per diem allowance, subject to the maximum amount.
