New to KU
Transfer students are students who have attended a post-secondary institution after high school and attempted any credit. If you are applying to KU for the first time, as a transfer student, check out the application requirements!
Second Degree students have already earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from KU or another accredited institution and are seeking an additional bachelor’s degree at KU. To apply, complete the KU Admissions application process.
If you previously attended KU and did not earn a degree, please review the Returning to KU section below!
Questions about the application process can be sent to transfer@kutztown.edu.
Celebrate your acceptance and pay your Advanced Registration Deposit (ARD) to commit to becoming a Golden Bear. After paying your ARD, please use the New Student Checklist to prepare for your first term with KU!

Returning to KU
Students who previously attended KU, left, and are interested in completing their KU degree need to complete the free Readmission Application with the Registrar's Office.
If you attended another post-secondary institution since you first attended KU, you must have your official transcripts sent to RegOffice@kutztown.edu to receive credit for this work. You may also be reivewed for a general education waiver with this documentation.
If you have earned an Associate's Degree since leaving KU or have been away from KU for at least two (2) years, you may be eligible for Academic Forgiveness. Requesting Academic Forgiveness will allow your KU GPA to reset after successful completion of 12 credits when your return to KU.
Once approved for readmission to KU, you will receive a confirmation email from the Registrar's Office connecting you with Briana and your major department for further assistance for your return!
