INTERNATIONAL Undergraduate Scholarships
First Year (Freshman) Merit Scholarship

| 3.00-3.49 GPA | $4,000 | $2,000 |
| 2.75-2.99 GPA | $1,500 | $750 |
Requirements for Renewal:
- Renewable for 4 years
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Earn 24 credits each academic year
Transfer Merit Scholarship

| 3.50+ GPA | $3,000 | $1,500 |
| 3.00-3.49 GPA | $2,000 | $1,000 |
| 2.75-2.99 GPA | $1,000 | $500 |
Requirements for Renewal:
- Renewable for 3 years
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Earn 24 credits each academic year
International Tuition Discount / Reduction

| 2.0+ GPA | $7,500 | $3,750 |
Non-Pennsylvania residents including out-of-state and international undergraduate students are automatically given a tuition discount.
Requirements for Renewal:
- Renewable for 3 years (Transfer) or 4 years (First Year)
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Earn 24 credits each academic year
- Second Bachelor's Degree applicants are not eligible
International Avalanche Awards

Students can apply online after they have submitted their application and received their admissions decision.
Requirements for Renewal:

- Earn 24 credits each academic year
International graduate Funding

How to Apply to a Graduate Assistantship:
- After you receive an offer of admission, you must confirm your offer of acceptance.
- Apply to available positions listed on the Graduate Studies website.
- Each office has their own timeline for reviewing applications and/or interviewing.
- Once you receive a Graduate Assistantship offer, you will sign a contract for the position.

Kutztown University Foundation Scholarships
To be considered for Kutztown University Foundation Scholarships, current and incoming students should complete a scholarship profile each year between November 1st and March 15th to be considered for available scholarships.
- These scholarships may have criteria specific to a student's major, GPA, or other factors. Scholarships are awarded based on the guidelines provided by the donors.
- Students who receive these scholarships will have to write a thank you letter to the donor of the scholarship.

Working on Campus (Estimated $2,000 - $8,000 per year)
International students on an F-1 visa may work on campus up to 20 hours a week while enrolled in a fall or spring term and up to 40 hours a week during the winter break, spring break, and summer break. This provides the potential to earn between $2,000 - $8,000 annually depending on the number of hours you work each week, if you work all year, and the pay you get per hour.
20 hours a week x 15 weeks in a semester x $9.00 pay per hour = $2,700 per semester
At Kutztown University, international students work on campus in housing, dining, the recreation center, the student union, the mail room, in academic departments, in administrative offices, and more. The International Office and the Career Development Center helps international students access these opportunities.

Payment Plans
Payment plans are available to students who want to pay their bills in multiple installments over several months, and these plans are offered only for the fall and spring semesters. Payment plans are not required but you should sign up early for the best payment plan offers. The plans require a small enrollment fee for each term you want to sign up for a plan.
