Micro-Internships
What ARE Micro-Internships?
- Short-term, project-based assignments (1-4 weeks, 10-40 hours)
- Often remote, but also offered hybrid or in person
- Paid experiences (Employers have the option to either pay students directly or make a $250 donation to the University Foundation Office, which will then apply the funds to the student’s school account)
- During semesters, summer or winter break
Benefits to Employers:

Important Dates for Micro-Internships:
Fall Semester:
Sep 1- Employer Interest Forms Due
Oct - Micro-internships start throughout the month
Nov 1- Check-in emails sent to all
Dec 1- Assessment emails sent to all
Winter:
Dec. 1 - Employer Interest Forms Due
Jan - Micro-internships start at begining of new year
Jan 15 - Check-in emails sent to all
Jan 30 - Assessment emails sent to all
Spring Semester:
Jan. 15 - Employer Interest Forms Due
Feb - Micro-internships start throughout the month
March 1 - Check-in emails sent to all
April 15 - Assessment emails sent to all
Summer:
May 15- Employer Interest Forms Due
June-July - Micro-internships start throughout the month
July 15- Check-in emails sent to all
Aug 15- Assessment emails sent to all
