University Guests and Visitors

Kutztown University welcomes guests, visitors and alumni to campus programs and events.

Parking

Visitors needing accessible parking may use any of the designated spaces on campus with a properly displayed state-issued plate or placard from any state.

Commencement

If you are attending a KU graduation ceremony and you need to make accessible seating arrangements, you must contact  or call 610-683-1396 to make arrangements for that day.

Parking for commencement closest to the O'Pake Field House (lot E-1 & lot E-2) is reserved for patrons with state-issued handicap plates or placards. While there are other lots that are reasonably close to the facility, individuals with mobility issues should plan to arrive early as these spaces are very limited. Alternatively, a drop-off area will be available to families that wish to drop off patrons with mobility issues near the venue. Both of these areas are accessible from Baldy Street. A state-issued handicap placard does not guarantee guests parking in our reserved parking areas.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Events that are open to the public are regularly scheduled in wheelchair accessible locations. If you wish to attend a specific event and want to confirm accessibility, please contact the individual or department sponsoring the event or the Disability Services Office at DSO@kutztown.edu.

Please note: Kutztown University does not provide wheelchairs or other mobility devices.

Sign Language Interpreters or Captioning

Requests for sign language interpreters or real-time captioning must be made at least two weeks in advance. Please contact the individual or department sponsoring the event or the Disability Services Office at .

Print Materials

If you need print materials in large font or digital format, please contact the individual or department sponsoring the event at least one week in advance.
