Commuter Parking

Parking On Campus

Parking on campus is coordinated through the Transportation Services.  For the most up to date information about parking, please visit Transportation Services here.

Campus Shuttle:

As part of the transportation fee students pay, the University provides an on and off campus shuttle service to assist students in getting around campus and downtown. The campus shuttle runs each weekday during fall and spring semesters. There is also a late night shuttle loop on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings that runs until 3:00 am. The shuttle buses are ADA accessible and accommodate those in a wheelchair. In order to ride the shuttle, present your valid KU student ID to the driver upon entering the bus. For more information and up to date schedules, visit the shuttle website.

Parking Meters:

Parking meters can be found at the McFarland Student Union parking lot (A1). The purpose of these meters is to promote vehicle turn-over in order to allow students access to important services rather than provide all-day parking. The parking meters are enforced 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday. The cost is 10 cents per 15 minutes with a maximum of 60 minutes. A vehicle with an expired meter may be ticketed every 2 hours at a cost of $10 per ticket.

Borough Parking:

When parking in the borough of Kutztown, be aware of all areas where parking is restricted and pay attention to signs and time limitations as parking attendants are very active.
