Parent/Family Orientation Program
Welcome to the golden bear community!
Maybe you are about to become a college parent for the first time, or maybe you've been one for years. No matter the stage you're in, we know that selecting a university for your child is one of the hardest things you'll do — so we're giving you everything you need to make the choice and the transition to life at Kutztown University as easy as possible.
The KU Parent/Family Orientation Program is a separate, half-day program that occurs on the same date and time as your student's orientation. Seating is limited. Register early!
orientation Agenda
The Parent/Family Orientation is an optional program. If you have an older child in college, this program may repeat topics you are familiar with such as financial aid, living on campus and academics. Please feel free to explore KU's campus or visit our amazing downtown area while your student attends their required orientation. Light refreshments are provided.
Topics covered include: paying for college, academics, health and safety, housing/residence life, dining and academics.
