Kutztown University’s M.Ed. in Secondary Education: Curriculum & Instruction is designed for current teachers who want to strengthen their practice, deepen their expertise, and grow professionally. This 30-credit online master’s degree focuses on curriculum development, the instructional process, research, and professional growth, helping educators gain advanced knowledge they can apply directly to today’s classrooms.
In addition to its convenient online format, coursework can be stacked with Kutztown University’s Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction Certification program, allowing candidates to work toward a master’s degree and supervisory certification at the same time.
Today’s teachers are expected to do more than deliver content. They are asked to strengthen instruction, respond to diverse learners, use evidence to improve practice, and adapt to changing curriculum demands. This degree supports that work through advanced study in curriculum and instruction, research, and professional learning.
This degree is a strong option for educators who want to grow as classroom practitioners while also building a foundation for future opportunities in teacher leadership, curriculum development, instructional improvement, and other forms of professional educator advancement.
