My professors and advisor helped me get experience in writing scientific papers, research, data collection and problem solving, as well as running PCR and ELISA tests and microscopy work. All of these skills helped to prepare me for my job working in a hospital laboratory where I run molecular tests, complete blood cell counts, blood identification tests, run analyzers for blood and urine tests and work alongside pathologists in the operating room.
