Waves of Welcome
Thursday, August 27: 3-6PM
Students are invited to visit each Inclusion Center (Vet Center, Boxwood House, Multicultural Center) for special activities, treats, raffle baskets, and connection to resources. M&VS will have dirty sodas outside the MSU, and will provide raffle tickets and must be submitted in the Veterans Center. The raffle item is a basket of various fun and useful items for starting the semester right.

25th Anniversary 9/11 Flags of Remembrance
M&VS will host a special service on Alumni Plaza on 9/11, inviting the community to remember the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks and following events on 9/11. The Kutztown Mayor will emcee and speakers will include M&VS Director Nick Snyder, Deputy Chief Soumas, and President Cavalier. M&VS and volunteers will set out the flags on 9/10 at 10am and will collect them on 9/11 at 3pm.
Berks Cultural Diversity Festival in Reading City Park

Join KU for an exciting day of cultural celebration and exploration. Members of the Inclusion Centers team will host a table with information on our resources. Let us know if you are able to support the event. Lunch will be provided for students who help represent.
Military, Veteran, & Federal Resume Workshop

Join M&VS and our KU Career Development Center partners for an interactive session focused on translating your military service into impactful, eye-catching resumes. We will also explore developing resumes specifically for federal employment.
PASSHE Diversity Summit
October 28-29, MSU
The PASSHE Summit provides a unique opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and administrators from across the State System to gather, share their work and research, and build connections and capacity within and across institutions. Special sessions regarding supporting military-connected students by supporting credit for prior learning and other diversity related topics will be offered.
