Lorena Bravo

Business Consultant (Bilingual)

Biographical Summary

Lorena P. Bravo is a Bilingual Business Consultant at the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center, where she advises entrepreneurs and small business owners on strategy, financial planning, market research, and funding navigation. She brings more than a decade of entrepreneurial leadership to her practice — she founded and grew an award-winning organic beauty business in the Lehigh Valley two locations, and 10,000+ clients before transitioning into consulting and higher education.

A doctoral candidate in Kutztown University’s Ed.D. program in Transformational Teaching and Learning (Cohort 8), Lorena’s dissertation research examines how institutional policy and Spanish-language programming in Small Business Development Centers shape economic outcomes for Spanish-preferring Latino entrepreneurs. 

Colombian-born and fluent in Spanish, Lorena is based in the Lehigh Valley. She serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley and is a member of the Kress Society at the Allentown Art Museum.

Mark Rentschler is a experienced professional with over 25 years of experience administering local, state, and federal incentive loan programs in the public, non-profit and private sectors. Extensive knowledge of Small Business Administration (SBA) loan programs (7(a) and 504), Commonwealth of Pennsylvania loan programs, and USDA Business and Industry loan program.
