Career Day

The College of Business Career Day welcomed 18 expert panelists—including many distinguished KU alumni—who offered students valuable, real-world insight into career readiness, industry expectations, and pathways for long-term professional growth. Throughout the day, students rotated through interactive panel discussions, gaining practical advice on interviewing, networking, workplace skills, emerging trends, and how to stand out in a competitive job market.

In addition to the panels, students took advantage of a variety of engaging activities, including free professional headshots, hands-on student club demonstrations, and a talented caricature artist who brought energy and fun to the event. Faculty moderators ensured each session remained focused, informative, and welcoming, creating an environment where students felt comfortable asking questions and exploring career possibilities.

A special alumni–faculty luncheon further strengthened the sense of community, providing a space for deeper conversation, mentorship opportunities, and ongoing collaboration between KU graduates and the College of Business. Overall, Career Day showcased the strong partnerships, supportive culture, and commitment to student success that define the KU College of Business.
