This minor draws upon a number of different departments and resources to offer Kutztown University students the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to succeed in archival management, museums, and public history. Students will learn both the theoretical and practical considerations of public history and archival management by combining classroom and hands-on coursework. This includes a required internship, which could be done either on campus or off at a museum, library, or similar institution. This interdisciplinary minor will allow students to pursue graduate degrees and careers in these fields.
