The Office of Information Technology will ensure that Kutztown University provides a secure, reliable and integrated technology environment that supports the University's mission to provide a high-quality education, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, to prepare students to meet lifelong intellectual, ethical, social, and career challenges. The Office of Information Technology will deliver superior service, current technology, and expert staffing in support of this mission.

Help Center

The Information Technology Help Center provides services to accommodate faculty, staff and students in order to support Kutztown University’s campus wide technologies.

Applications

Kutztown University provides applications to support academic learning, campus activities, communications and information needed to enable student success.

ResNet

ResNet is a collaborative service provided by the Office of Information Technology, Housing and Dining Services and Residence Life to provide Internet access and technology support for all resident students.

Clicking on links and opening attachments in email are the two most common ways in which accounts are compromised. On November 4th, Kutztown University will implement the Safe Links and Safe Attachments features (see below for more information on each feature) with your Microsoft Office 365 account to better protect you from phishing attempts and malicious software.

WiFi @ KU

At Kutztown University, we provide Wi-Fi to the entire campus. Our goal is to provide a reliable and secure Wi-Fi network connection.

External Review

As part of the Middle States program review, the Kutztown University Information Technology department underwent a review by an independent external agency. The review was conducted over the spring and summer of 2017. The final report was delivered in early November with the final presentation taking place on November 15th. The report is available below for viewing.
