Our Transfer Student On-Campus Resources are designed specifically to guide you through your transition, offering personalized support, academic tools, and community engagement opportunities so you can make the most of your KU experience from day one. Transfer Year Residential Experience Graduate

Starting at a new university can be exciting—but also overwhelming. The Transfer Year Residential Experience (TYRE) Graduate Student Employee is here to make that transition smoother for you! This position is designed to support on-campus transfer students as they adjust to life at Kutztown University—socially, academically, and personally. Whether you're looking for involvement opportunities, academic support, or simply trying to find your place on campus, the TYRE Graduate is a dedicated resource who can connect you with the tools, people, and programs to help you succeed. Transfer Mentorship Experience 

When you come to campus for your first year of the transfer year residential experience, you will be assigned a Transfer Mentor. They are there to support, be a guide, and serve as a resource for you throughout your first year on campus! They do specific programming and outreach to help you acclimate to KU and include you in campus events. Click here to see all the things they do to help support transfer students!

Transfer Activities council (TAC)

TAC is a student-led organization created specifically for on-campus transfer of students from other colleges, universities, or institutions. Our mission is to build a strong and inclusive community where transfer students can connect, get involved, and make the most of their KU experience.   • Selecting Your Meal Plan

    Students living in a Residence Hall (except Golden Bear Village Apartments, Honors Building, and efficiency apartments in Dixon Hall) must have MyTime Dining Diamond Meal Plan, MyTime Dining Platinum Meal Plan, or MyTime Dining Gold Meal Plan. Click here for more information.

  • Public Safety

    Public Safety at Kutztown University is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This department provides a wide range of services, including 24/7 campus patrols, emergency response, and safety escorts. Public Safety officers are trained to handle various situations, from medical emergencies to security concerns, ensuring a secure and supportive campus environment. They also work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services to respond effectively to any situation.   • Health & Wellness Services

    Before you move onto campus, you will need to update some health forms for the university records. You can do that on the Health & Wellness website. During the semester, the Health & Wellness Services Office provides students with care and treatment of illness, injuries, reproductive/gynecological health, short-term mental health counseling, and assistance to students who develop negative relationships with drugs and alcohol. 

  • Student Involvement

    Find out ways to get involved around campus and see what types of events and services KU offers through our Office of Student Involvement! 

  • Disability Services Office (DSO)

    Should you need to set up any sort of accommodation, you will need to reach out to our Disability Services Office to get that process started. To make sure your accomdations are in place for the start of the semester, we recommend starting this process well before you get to campus! 

  • Other KU Offices
