If you are planning to complete your degree this semester, please be in contact with your advisor to discuss final coursework.

Step 2: Transfer all Credits

If you have studied at another institution and will be using graduate credits earned at that institution, make sure to transfer those credits officially to the university. Click here for the transfer credit form.

Step 3: Apply for Graduation on MyKU

Log onto and apply for graduation.

For any further assistance or questions with the MyKU process, please contact Brian Meares in the Registrar's office.

Step 4: Contact the Dept. of Secondary Education

Once you apply for graduation, contact the office of Secondary Education at to request to be added to the Secondary Education Graduate Student Portfolio shell on Desire to Learn (D2L). All information regarding the required graduate portfolio can be accessed in this program.

Step 5: Submit your Portfolio
