KU BSW @ RACC

Complete your Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Degree with Kutztown University of Pennsylvania at Reading Area Community College campus.

Students who hold an associate degree in social work from Reading Area Community College* are able to earn a Bachelor in Social Work degree from Kutztown University on the RACC campus.

The program was developed to serve the community by providing well-educated, well-trained graduates, who after their graduation, can give back and serve their community.

Coursework

All required coursework is offered on the Reading Area Community College campus.  Coursework includes 13 required Kutztown University social work courses taught on campus at RACC and 7 additional courses available through Reading Area Community College.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

*To be eligible students must complete an Associate of Art (AA) degree in Social Work, including 3 social work introductory classes, prior to acceptance into the program.

  • Financial support: All students who transfer to Kutztown University receive a book scholarship, and may be eligible for additional financial aid.

Students who complete their BSW through Kutztown University may be eligible for may qualify for admittance into the MSW Advanced Standing Program
