Five-Time Parents' Choice Award Winners Okee Dokee Brothers at KU Sunday

As childhood friends growing up in Denver, Colo., Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing were born adventurers. The Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers put a passion for the outdoors at the heart of their Americana folk music. Performing music that inspires children and their parents to step outside and get creative, they hope kids will gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves. Join them 2 p.m Sunday, Nov. 19, Schaeffer Auditorium as part of the KU Presents! Family Series. Faculty and staff can access discounted tickets using their MyKU log-in.

Cold Weather Reminder

Here we go again. Cold weather is upon us and temperatures will regularly dip to levels below freezing. With that in mind, it's important to make sure exterior windows and doors are kept closed. Doing so will help conserve energy and prevent interior water pipes from bursting resulting in costly water damage. If you notice open windows or doors in your area, please close them or report the location to the Facilities Work Control Center.  Let's work together to conserve energy and prevent damage to our buildings.

Seeking Feedback on KU's Institutional Priorities

The Middle States Steering Committee seeks feedback from faculty, staff and students on KU’s institutional priorities. The selection of institutional priorities that matter to the institution is key to ensuring that the Middle States Self-Study Report and process are informative, insightful and valuable. Institutional priorities should therefore be forward-looking and related to the university's mission. Four institutional priorities were shared at a recent Town Hall meeting Thursday, Nov. 9. Please follow the link to provide your feedback on our four institutional priorities by Wednesday, Nov. 22.
