2023 Opening Day Convocation and Celebration Recap
Complete coverage of the Opening Day Convocation and Celebration held Friday, Aug. 25, is now available online. The hour-long program covers the many great activities occurring at our university. Included are the annual faculty award presentations and employee of the year, a message from President Hawkinson and an overview of the university strategic plan. Visit the President’s webpage to view the full video replay and remarks from President Hawkinson.
A nearby frontal boundary brings us a day with more clouds than sunshine and the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in areas. Not a washout, but you might be dodging some precipitation at any time. Cool for late August. High around 76.
Thank You Volunteers
Thank you to all faculty, staff and students who volunteered their time and energy in helping new students and their families on move-in day. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated. Go Bears!
Lisa Grabowski, Department of College Readiness Program
