Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger

Yesterday evening’s cold front has cleared the skies of the Canadian wildfire smoke and we should have nice blue skies today and refreshing conditions with highs only about 69, which is about 7 degrees below average for this time of year. Swift northerly breezes will make it feel even cooler.

Please join me in offering our deepest sympathies to our friend and colleague Dr. Thomas Stewart, Department of Academic Enrichment, for the loss of his father. Col. John P. Stewart died peacefully Sunday, May 21, surrounded by his loving family. A viewing will be held at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 25. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Shrine Church, 152 East Pomfret Street, Carlisle, 10 a.m. Friday, May 26. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Mary Jane Stewart Magnum PI Scholarship at the Shippensburg University Foundation at www.SUFoundation.org/Give-now.
