Christmas on the Farm

Celebrate Pennsylvania German Christmas traditions and the vibrant folk culture of the region at Christmas on the Farm, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University. Christmas on the Farm is a free, fun and educational event for the whole family featuring folklife demonstrations, live musical performances by some of the region’s finest folk musicians, kid’s activities, animals, local folk artists and special appearances from the legendary Pennsylvania Dutch holiday visitor – the Belsnickel.

Lunch and Learn: Creating CV/Resume Workshop

The Enrollment Management Student Affairs (EMSA) Professional Development Committee is proud to present the next workshop in our series of "Lunch and Learns" open to all faculty and staff. In this resume workshop, the Career Development Center will explain different types of resumes with specific examples. They will also discuss how to include the most important elements that highlight a job candidate’s qualifications and accomplishments. The presentation will take place 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 29, 250 McFarland Student Union. Light refreshments will also be provided. Please use this link to sign up. Commission on Human Diversity Call for Proposals

The Commission on Human Diversity’s 13th annual conference which will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 3, 2023, in MSU.  Our conference theme this year, "Contemporary Issues in Human Diversity and Social Justice" promotes the commission's mission to educate in all areas of diversity.  We are accepting proposals based on contemporary topics: disability studies, critical race theory, neurodiversity, intersectionality, religion and sexuality. We also welcome proposals related to the various dimensions of multiculturalism, diversity, social justice, inclusion and equity in all areas of life and education.  The initial proposal deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 7, with the possibility of acceptance until Jan 11, 2023.  Please use this link to submit a proposal: https://forms.office.com/r/TJw8gPEyKi.  Feel free to share this link with others – we welcome proposals from staff, faculty, students and off-campus stakeholders.
