KUTZTOWN, Pa. – In honor of Women’s History Month this March, Kutztown University is excited to announce a special event featuring Chanel Miller, a renowned writer and artist, as the keynote speaker as well as a series of events.

The Women's Center at Kutztown University is spearheading the organization of this event, aiming to provide students and the community with a valuable opportunity to engage with the themes of Women’s History Month and to highlight current issues facing women. In partnership with departments and centers across campus, including the Multicultural Center (MCC), Health and Wellness Center, Kutztown University Activities Board, Residence Life and the Commission on the Status of Women, the Women's Center is setting the stage for an enlightening and empowering experience.

Miller, best known for her critically acclaimed memoir “KNOW MY NAME,” which brought to light her experiences and resilience in the face of sexual assault, will be sharing her journey and insights 6 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 218 McFarland Student Union (MSU). Her work has not only won numerous awards but has also played a crucial role in amplifying the conversation around women’s rights and empowerment.
