KU College of Business Renews Prestigious AACSB Accreditation

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University’s College of Business celebrates continued excellence with renewed accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The KU College of Business has both AACSB and Commission on Sports Management Accreditation (COSMA) accredited programs.

KU has featured an accredited business program since 2015.

“AACSB congratulates each institution on achieving AACSB accreditation,” said Stephanie Bryant, executive vice president and Global Chief Accreditation Officer at AACSB. “The commitment to earning accreditation is a true reflection of each school’s dedication – not only to its students, alumni network and greater business community – but to society as a whole.”

Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest serving global accrediting body for the business schools that offer bachelor, master and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. AACSB accreditation is considered the hallmark of excellence in business education. There are 1,055 institutions worldwide accredited by AACSB international.

The College of Business at Kutztown University offers a Bachelor of Science in sport management, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. The following nine distinct undergraduate programs are offered under the Department of Business Administration: Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship, General Business, Human Resource Management, Personal Financial Planning, Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management and several minor programs, including Business, Business Analytics, Economics and Supply Chain Management and Logistics.

In addition to its accredited programs, KU's College of Business offers unique opportunities through award-winning and accredited Small Business Development Center along with the Entrepreneurial Leadership Center, which operate on campus.
