KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University has named Jennifer Post-Whisted its next executive director of marketing. Post-Whisted brings 28 years of higher education experience and will begin her new role Monday, Oct. 5.

As executive director of marketing, Post-Whisted will serve as the central campus resource for marketing for Kutztown University. She will collaborate with campus partners to proactively lead high-level projects, programs and initiatives to advance KU's vision, strategic priorities and institutional goals.

"As a longtime Berks County resident, I'm thrilled to join the Kutztown University community," Post-Whisted said. "KU has an incredible story to tell. I'm excited to share the stories of the people, achievements and impact that make this campus exceptional, and I look forward to collaborating across campus to amplify the experiences that define Kutztown University."

Most recently, Post-Whisted served as manager of executive communications at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa., where she led executive and institutional communication strategies, managed media relations and crisis communications and served as senior editor of the college magazine.

Prior to Ursinus, she spent 26 years at Albright College in Reading, Pa., last serving as vice president for communications, a position she held from 2017-24. In that role, she transformed the college's marketing and communications through award-winning campaigns, data-driven strategies, an institutional rebrand and reimagined organic social media and digital marketing strategies. These initiatives led to a 79% increase in web traffic, renewed trust in the Albright College brand and expanded partnerships with community leaders.

"We are excited to have Jen join the division and lead our marketing efforts," said Matt Santos, vice president for University Relations and Athletics. "Jen has tremendous and diverse experience, is extremely versatile and brings excellent knowledge of our region. I am looking forward to having her work with our talented University Relations staff to enhance the visibility and awareness of KU among prospective students and parents and all of our key audiences."

Post-Whisted holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications with a concentration in public relations and a minor in journalism from the University of Delaware.
